This project is focused on conducting a feasibility study to explore the potential conversion of palm oil’s empty fruit bunch (EFB) waste into biochar. The study is being carried out in Pekanbaru during the period of [insert specific dates], and it aims to assess the technical, economic, and environmental viability of this process. The findings of this research will serve as a foundational step toward the development of a sustainable waste management system for the palm oil industry in Pekanbaru. By transforming EFB waste into biochar, this initiative seeks to contribute to waste reduction, promote renewable energy, and support environmentally friendly agricultural practices in the region.
Yayasan Agathis Dammara Karbon serves as both the project manager and operational team, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the project. Our activities include conducting biomass surveys to assess resources, interviewing stakeholders to gather insights, and producing biochar as part of the process. The project culminates in a feasibility study report, providing detailed analysis and practical recommendations for sustainable biochar production and implementation.
Yayasan Agathis Dammara Karbon (Adakarbon) is a non-profit foundation committed to fostering sustainable environmental solutions through carbon sequestration (biochar) and reforestation initiatives.
